on the front? Who knows.....sure has been quiet lately.
Anyways, looks like I'm spending the afternoon tagging along
with a few C-47's on a paradrop. In and out, and back in time for
dinner. They call it a Gravy Run.........but there's gotta be a catch.
Right?
The 6th and 17th Airborne Divisions are positioning
themselves for a push on the enemy. Your mission is
to tag along with three C-47's to their present
position to paradrop some added infantry.
Enemy activity
in this area has been light recently,
so this should be relatively uneventful. Take off and
join up with the Goony's passing over
Maastricht as we speak.
You'll be
carrying bombs and missles just in case you
run into any distractions from the ground, as no
fighter activity has been reported in this area.
Get those C-47's to thier drop point and back.
There are
no waypoints for your flight in this
mission.....you must fly it all the way.
